What is the Orange Glasses Campaign?

Manufacturing over 90% of domestic glasses production, Sabae City uses glasses as a tool to promote the SDG5 “Gender Equality”, and holds a campaign project called the “SDG5 Orange Glasses Campaign” throughout the month of March, coinciding with the United Nations’ International Women’s Day.

Sabae hopes to help spread awareness of gender inequality, as well as empower women, throughout Japan and the World through this campaign.
